Hong Kong Olympics


ASSORTED is a magazine to help create a community and space for Asian Americans to share stories and discuss their struggles. Through print and digital, ASSORTED is a tool used to help Asian-Americans reaffirm their identity and culture. 




Ideation


For this project, we were tasked with creating a branding system for the olympics with the country of our choice. I decided to do Hong Kong and based the logo off of the current flag.



Final product


Hong Kong's blend of old and new inspired my visual approach, combining black-and-white imagery with vibrant illustrations. This contrast enhanced the dynamic nature of the design and added flexibility to the overall system. For the final deliverables, I designed a booklet featuring the event schedule and a distinctive ticket design.
